Information We Collect
Patients: name, date of birth, contact details, medical and dental history, radiographs, photographs, clinical notes and billing information.
Contractors and service providers: contact details, qualifications, registrations and banking details where required.
How We Collect Information
Information is collected directly from patients through medical history forms, clinical examination, correspondence and electronic communication. With consent, information may also be obtained from other healthcare providers or insurers.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
EOPerio uses secure AI-assisted systems to support:
• Clinical documentation and record structuring
• Preparation of reports and referral correspondence
• Administrative workflow and communication processes
AI tools are not used for diagnostic decision-making or radiographic interpretation. All clinical decisions are made solely by a registered dental practitioner.
Where AI systems are used, patient information is de-identified wherever practicable prior to processing.
Use and Disclosure
Personal information is used to provide care, manage appointments, process payments and meet regulatory obligations.
Information may be disclosed to referring practitioners, health insurers, IT providers and regulatory authorities where required. We do not sell personal information.
Overseas Disclosure
Some secure cloud providers may store data overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure compliance with Australian privacy standards.
Data Security
We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards including secure software systems, encrypted data transmission, password protection and restricted access controls.
Access, Correction & Complaints
You may request access to or correction of your information by contacting us in writing.
